Our second time at Nurture Wellness and the massage and spa service are still excellent! However, this time we were assigned a garden view room that was quite dilapidated, the bathroom fixtures were loose and very old, room amenities were lacking, and the room exterior looked unkempt. Since we had paid premium rates for peak season, we felt shortchanged given the condition of the room. The revamped restaurant, Farmer's Table (operated by a third party, Raintree) is ridiculously expensive, and the food is bland, tasteless and ordinary. The plated breakfast was so-so. During our stay, we had reserved a table for dinner thru the front desk but our request was ignored by the restaurant and they made us wait for a table instead. Turns out the resto was prioritizing walk-in diners instead of overnight spa guests. Same with the parking situation - it's now very difficult to park as the slots are always filled by the resto's diners. The lobby was always crowded with diners waiting in line and was quite chaotic especially during meal times, which takes away from the ambiance of the place. It was not so relaxing anymore. It would be great if overnight spa guests can be prioritized both in terms of meal reservations and parking - perhaps Nurture can consider allocating a separate parking area for restaurant guests. We really miss the old Nurture which was quite, pleasant and relaxing. The place is now being overwhelmed by Farmer's Table. Given the poor condition of the rooms, we recommend going there now only for the massage and spa services, but book a room somewhere else where you can get your money's worth.
