Customer service training must be done for the lady who was working the night shift(supervisor). She was not friendly at all. Not smiling at all, but overall everyone was welcoming. I enjoyed staying there.
Staff at Maun Lodge is exceptional. the convenience of having a shuttle is quite good. reception staff were also very welcome and great, as well as the housekeeping staff. Noise levels should however be kept to a minimum by employees.
This is where the safari begins, and the ordeal of international travel ends prior to a great time in the bush. Traveling for 28hours and landing here is always a good thing. This is my third t8me to be here for the same reason. The rooms are adequate, clean and the place is quiet. The WiFi is essentially non existent. They have a great and not too much used bar. The buffet dinner and breakfast are truly first class. There is a great selection of well prepared food. They also present a few selections of the regional fare.
Maun lodge continues to grow and it gets better and better. The Boma is a lovely place to chill at for lunches or dinner. It's simple and elegant. The food is lovely, wonderful starters especially the chicken liver.

Best service and top class facilities. Upon arrival we were met by friendly and energetic Security personnel who made sure we got parking and ushered us to the reception. At the reception we immediately felt like we have been there for sometime as the reception staff were forthcoming with information and were energetic and served with a smile always. the rooms were impeccable nothing to complain about, comfortable beds clean bathroom. The food Excellent, the service there also top class...im definitely going back there for holiday.
the place was a great place to stay, secure, rooms where specious, meals where great, one other thing, i got a chance to use the swimming pool so i believe a big pool would be ideal looking how big the facility is.
