we passed by in a cruise for the south pacific island. It wasn't my favorite one of the stops but it was definitely the favorite of my partner who loves snorkeling. He recons it was the best of his life... and he has done a lot.
I and my little girl stayed in the beach and we had a great time swimming and playing in the gorgeous white sand.

What a beautiful, off-the-beaten-path, relaxing spot. Not for those seeking thrills or shopping adventures but rather unspoilt beauty. I would happily return to escape the modern world!

Took a bus transfer to Yedjele Beach as part of our cruise itinerary. The beach is situated on a reef break which is safe to swim and snorkel. Gorgeous white sand. Locals (with no English) sell drinks and meals (basic choices of chips or rice and chicken curry) but get in quick as well fast. Local coconuts available for $3 each.

We had a day here on our cruise and we absolutely loved it. While you can book tours and do a variety of things, this was our first Island stop and it was great just taking the bus over to the beach and going snorkeling. There is plenty of food and drinks to buy that are made by the locals. We had fish and rice and it was fresh as well as very tasty.
The snorkeling here was fantastic. Lots of stunning tropical fish just a few feet into the water, it absolutely took my breath away. The water is really calm and clear so visibility great. As it is protected by a reef, the water is very safe as well. The coral was really beautiful. Just don’t touch or stand on it and break it. A lot of people recommend wearing beach feet, I recommend being careful and not standing on the stuff.
