Just got back from a four night break in a signature lodge at Blossom Hill park. Travelled with family including four kids and two dogs. Firstly for all who read reviews and form opinions based on negative reviews please visit and form your own. Admittedly, the location is slightly odd being blended in with a small housing development but it’s so peaceful and the lodges are of an incredibly high spec and wonderfully maintained. The interior was immaculate .
We had a hot tub and ample parking.
There is a woodland walk if you have dogs but we took ours out with us on our daily trips.
It’s a really great base for visiting Devon, we visited Sidmouth, Dawlish, Beer, Branscome and the kids loved the donkey sanctuary which also welcomes dogs.
Supermarkets all 10-15 minute drive away and lovely little local shop 5 minute walk.
We saw another holiday park which was near shops, pubs and had a pool but to be honest It was noisy, litter everywhere and people hanging their ‘small s’ over the lodge railings. If you want something like that don’t go to Blossom Hill.
We had busy days and it was great going back to fantastic accommodation , having a nice meal and relaxing in the hot tub .
We also liked minimal WiFi as the kids had to talk to us! We played cards, watched DVDs and played board games. Brilliant family time and I can’t recommend it more highly.

Stayed 2 nights with friends. The signature lodge was beautiful and well kept. We had a hot tub on the terrace which was also clean and well maintained throughout or short stay. On arrival we were shown our lodge and everything inside was explained. We had a little basket with essentials such as sugar, milk, small cereal boxes, tea etc.. nice touch. The bedrooms had little bags with creams, shower gel etc too - again nice touch. We didn’t leave the lodge only to drive to honiton town to get food 10-15min drive away you’ll find Tesco, Lidl, Aldi etc.. The park is literally in the middle of a housing estate in a tiny village, there is nothing to do on site, this didn’t bother us as we’d booked to enjoy the hot tub! 2nights was plenty.

I must make it clear that I have not stayed at this holiday park. However, I do know Dunkeswell. There is nothing there quite frankly. A car is essential, indeed without one it is impossible. The village is pretty much a retirement community. You will be spending all your time driving out.

Was taken here by my husband and 2 teenage sons for my birthday, was a fab lodge, immaculate and to a high spec, the teenagers were slightly bored as theres nothing to do close by, this is more for an adult get away. Will be coming back just as a couple.

We stayed in one of the one bedroom lodges for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We arrived on 1st January for a 4 night break away from it all. We were welcomed with rose petals, bubbly and chocolates to help us celebrate our anniversary. The lodge was absolutely perfect with stunning decor and it was also immaculately clean. It was so well equipped and catered for all our needs. So warm and cosy, we didn’t want to leave! The hot tub was an added bonus which we used many times and thoroughly enjoyed. The only down side was that the lodges are very remote (which we knew before we booked) so we had to spend quite a lot of time travelling to restaurants and other attractions. There is an Indian restaurant near by which was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed the take away we had on our last night! Dream lodges at Blossom Hill is perfect for couples who want to spend quality time together but probably wouldn’t be suitable for large groups or families due to the lack of facilities.
