Review of Cliff House Hotel

The whole experience of the Cliff House is exceptional. The drive to it sets the tone for the beautiful views you can expect during your stay.
The valet was brilliant and even charged our car (a nice, unexpected surprise when leaving).
Tom, who checked us in, was friendly, witty, and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.
All the staff throughout the hotel are really at the top of their game and every meal, drink, spa-treatment, and random interaction with them left us feeling like we were truly warmly welcome.
The food at the Cliff House is a big part of the experience and both restaurants lived up to their well deserved hype. If you can manage to get a booking, the Michelin starred House restaurant is well worth the visit... But if you can't get a booking for House, the main hotel restaurant was also marvelous!
Overall, it was a really special place and I can't wait to return.
