I trekked from Lukla to Everest Base Camp. It was a tough but adventerous trekking for almost 5 to 6 days. Once I got to the top of the Everest Base Camp the view of mountains was very spectacular and well worht the effort.
Dear Happy460,
I think your review was for the actual Everest Base Camp and not our bar/business of the same name :), although our name is based on the one your reviewed! 5-6 days to EBC is indeed a feat!
Best,
Amanda
Basecamp has been a place where it has people from all ages to all profession hanging out. It is a outdoorsy venue with a simple bar and you can order food from restaurants around the area. Its a great hangout places for all types of artists. People here make new friends, help new people in town with the collect what to do list in Nepal and make some amazing memories!
Dear Haushala,
Thanks so much for the great review - the memories are great because of the diverse and wonderful group of people (like you) that visit! We are so lucky to have you in our Base Camp Family :)

First visit, Great place, good band. Not enough places to sit, people smoking, but altogether good crowd, good ambience, fun!
Dear Yjyj2,
thanks so much for the review, sorry about the seating, we have high and low flows and tried to adjust for both. Will try to add some more of the folding stools. Glad you visited, hope its not the last! Find us on facebook/basecampoutdoorlifestyle for updates and information on events.

Base camp is great for its relaxed outdoorsy atmosphere and impromptu concerts and jam sessions. There's always something happening there. Patrons include local artists, musicians and expats.
Dear Agathe,
Thank you for your review, glad you like the place - we try to keep it lively!
See you soon!
Basecamp has been a soulful place for about two years now. It turned into a major relief center after the April 25 earthquake while also providing relief to the relief workers.
Friendly and unassuming, and frequented by both good looking and intelligent people, there is never a dull moment at Basecamp. Well complimented by a cosy coffee shop downstairs; order-in pizza, and frankey rolls; and increasingly regular, good live music.
Warning: Can get addicting!
Dear Nayan,
You're definitely one of the goodlooking and intelligent people :), thanks for the great review!
The earthquake brought out the best in some and the worst in others, it was definitely the former for the BaseCamp family that includes you!
See you soon!
Everest Base Camp takes days of trekking to get to, and you have to carry your own supplies whilst risking frost bite and yeti attacks.
This Base Camp has beer and pizza.
Dear James,
Best review ever! Shame we dont have Belgian clowns dropping by often, maybe they'll reconsider and come back next year!
Totally true about the yetis - the only yeti in our neighborhood, is the yummiest passionfruit-vodka cocktail :)
