White Tank is a beautiful park with lots of great hikes from easy and accessible to very difficult. The waterfall trail (accessible) is a must see, we love the petroglyphs that are visible along the hike. We have also hiked parts of the Ford Trail, Waddell and Mesquite Canyon with the kids. My husband and I did the entire Ford Canyon trail (very difficult) about 14km, the hike has beautiful views, being so far back, we didn’t encounter anyone else for a long time. It felt like we had the desert all to ourselves!

First time visitor here. It was great to experience desert landscape in the mountains. So many great trails to choose from. Be sure to wear boots for the rugged terrain. Enjoy!

We were recently at the park on a Monday morning. We found the guy in the information center to be extremely helpful and friendly. He suggested several short easy hikes per our request. We picked the Black Rock loop trail and continued to the waterfall. It was a great 1 1/2 hour hike. The trails were popular, but not too crowded at that time of day. I look forward to hiking there again. The fee for 3 of us with our car was $6, which we considered fair.

We wanted a moderate hike that allowed us to enjoy the park. We did the waterfall trail. It was easy walking and great for getting outside for a couple of hours. Kids really enjoyed the hike.
