When we (2 couples) arrived an hour before sunset and Amy wanted to get us on the waves, I knew she and her place rocks!! She ensured our wifes were settled and that we had our scooters and gear ready for a sunset surf... drove off to the Peak and scored our first barrels on the Sumatra coast! That is awesome hosting :-) ! Amy's Place has so many stand outs apart from the great welcome! The food is divine, the staff is awesome, the vibe is chill, the beers are cold, the pool and layout is perfect for chilling and the view and sound of the ocean! The rooms are large with fans and we slept like babies every night. Amy made sure that we wete on the waves every day. The best surf resort type thing on the coastline. Clean, comfortable and affordable location with awesome waves on the doorstep. will definitely be back to stay again. Staff were available 24/7 with amazing service, food was delicious and rooms were always immaculate.

Loved our time here. It was by far the cleanest and most welcoming accommodation I saw in Krui. So central to everything. All the breaks of Krui, then 30min - 1hour north or south to many other choices of waves. We'll be back again. 100% certain of this.

Amy's Place is paradise! Incredible location with a beautiful beach, reef and waves out front. Great food with loads of variety, but always tasty. Comfortable and clean rooms. Beautiful jungle garden with an epic viewing tower for wave watching and sunset beer-drinking sessions. Fun, smiling and happy staff with special mention to the legend that is Pelly! All this is reigned over by Queen Amy. She brings a level of service to the Sumatran jungle that is hard to beat. Queen Amy arranges whatever you need, and you never need to check up on its progress because...SHE GETS IT DONE! Thank you, Queen Amy and your merry band of wonderful people!
