They are clearly running with a minimum staff. Front desk clerk is stuck on the phone, kitchen is very delayed in preparing food, no cocktail waitress in bar. Not an acceptable level/quality of service for this caliber and cost of resort.

Hotels.comI cannot WAIT to go back! The outdoor and main spaces were absolute perfection, and the staff was among the best/most professional I've ever experienced. The room was clean and thoughtfully appointed, the ceilings a bit low, but we didn't spend a ton of time in there other than to sleep. The outdoor spaces are where you want to be!
Staff, food and grounds are amazing. Location good if not renting a car and can walk a mile to most restaurants. Note - they no longer have shuttle service. Pool very busy on weekend. Would stay again!
The property is old and in need of a tune up. The pool was crowded without sufficient seating for all of the people present. The food at the restaurant was fair and that is being generous. All in all, not a four star experience but they charge four star prices.
We endured some aggrevations, to say the least, at this hotel. We were not given the room we booked and were made to pay for $500 worth of spa treatments that we did not receive. They did give us a facial instead of the spa experience we booked. The seats around the pool were dirty, the pool was not cleaned until noon (pool opened much earlier than that). Drinks and peoples food trays were left around firepits and lounging areas for far too long.
The Scott Resort and Spa is one of the best boutique resorts I've had the pleasure of staying. You will not go wrong booking a long weekend. When leaving the property to explore other drink and bar options we often commented how the experience at The Scott was better.
