Description: Hearth ‘61 believes in ingredient-driven cuisine made with time-honored flavor pairings and cooking styles rich in tradition. We let the food inspire creativity and serve up seasonal fare that’s delightful in its simplicity. Take in the gorgeous desert scenery with glass walls and a large patio that invites the outside in. Admire the open kitchen unimpaired views across the oval-shaped bar and thoughtful design details. On May 24, 1961, Paradise Valley became an officially incorporated town. The residents prided themselves on the quality of life they created in this valley with stunning vegetation and peaceful vistas. As a part of the town’s history and future, Hearth ‘61 seeks to honor Paradise Valley’s beginning and become the heart of the community where people gather together for good food and good times.

Food well presented in this sleek, modern dining room with open kitchen. Breakfast fruit always good. Poached eggs did not have water fully drained and my order of ham looked different on each of three times ordered—thin lean slices, Canadian style, and thin, fatty, greasy. Salmon bites at happy hour tasty and lightly fried. Squash soup excellent

We went here for Easter brunch and unfortunately probably will not be returning. The food is average at best. There were 5 of us dining for brunch and we all ordered something different and not one of us really enjoyed our entree. However on a bright note the waitstaff/hostess and even the valet guys are all professional and very friendly. As far as the overall feel of the resort; it is backed up to the beautiful Camelback mountain but the design of the hotel looked more like a Holiday Inn.

We are here 3 mornings in a row while staying at Mountain Shadow Resort. Everything we ordered was superb! My son ate every morsel of the waffle each day, omelet was perfect every day, my husband raved about the Steak and Egg hash, smoked salmon was so good as well!

We at in the "Living Room" section of the restaurant, which is high top seating near the bar. We arrived late from the airport and just wanted a quick bit. It's a separate menu from the dining room. My husband and daughter split the H '61 Burger which is made with tillamook cheddar & bacon onion jam. They loved it. It looked wonderful and they mentioned it was one of the best burgers they have ever had. We also ordered the Spicy Queso & Guacamole served with tortilla chips. Service was friendly and efficient.
