Stayed for one night to have time to do the Glacier National Park trip and then head to El Chalten. Elizabeth was super nice and very helpful!! As a solo traveler, the room was cozy and all I needed. Breakfast did the trick as well in the AM. Elizabeth helped organize for the bus to the glacier to pick me up in front of the hotel, which saved me a 40 minute walk. The only (tiny) request if I were to stay again would be to ask how to turn down the heat in the middle of the night as I woke up very hot. Otherwise terrific stay!!

Stayed one night, plenty of parking in a sparse but clean room. Easy walk to dinner and nice hot breakfast. Owner was helpful in recommending places for dinner and where to find petrol (stations often sold out).

The summer concert in El Calafate occurred during our stay which made it difficult to sleep. Our request for a morning taxi was forgotten, causing a bit of scrambling right before departure (bus station is a 40 min walk).

We had no troubles with dogs although there are plenty in Calafate. Safe location.

Had a great stay at the Miyazoto Inn. Both Elisabeth and her husband were very personable and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable and a good value. A previous review mentioned an aggressive dog near the hotel. We had this same experience a couple times while walking into town from the hotel, same dog each time rushing at us, aggressively barking. It never bit us but was startling/frightening and we started to make sure we were carrying something to defend ourselves if needed (water bottle, heavy backpack). This isn't something the hotel owners can control and yes, there are tons of dogs roaming El Calafate, just thought I should give a heads up. Our actual experience at the hotel was great, the dog was not.

Our large group enjoyed our stay at Miyazota Inn. Elizabeth was a wonderful help during booking and during our stay. She booked our tour to the glacier as well as taxis. The rooms are basic but comfortable. It was great to be able to congregate in the lounge. Loved the pancakes for breakfast!

A quiet location but 10 mins from the centre , on foot. Nothing was too much trouble for this couple who both spoke good English. They helped with tours, and airport reservations.coffee and tea was provided at any time with no additional cost. Breakfast was served from 6.30 which was a bonus when you need to leave early for a trip.
