Los Juncos is without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed...worldwide! When we originally read the Trip Advisor comments about how great it was, we were excited to go, and slightly sceptical about if it would live up to the expectations and reviews. It did and then some.

Flavia and Gaby are the best hosts you could ever ask for, we felt welcomed and at home from the minute we stepped in to the lovely dinning and reception area. We stayed in Bariloche for 6 days and ate dinner every night at the posada. Gaby cooks the best food and we missed it every day after we left (especialy when compared to most south american food).

The posada is about 20 km from town, but beautifully positioned on the lake with a beautiful view of the lake and Cerro Campanario. There is a bus stop directly outside which can take up to 40 mins to get to town but only costs about 2 pesos and comes every 20 mins. It only takes about 10 mins to get to the port where all the boat tours around the lakes and to Chile leave from.

The rooms are gorgeous and luxurious without the mega price tag of 5 star places. We loved Los Juncos so much that we made a special trip back to Bariloche (from Puerto Montt) at the end of our 3 months in South America to see Gaby and Flavia again and show my parents the place we'd been raving about for the last 3 months.

A definite MUST do!

The service was terrific, it was like visiting friends, Flavia, Gaby and Elizabeth were the BEST of hosts. We had the suite which was very large with plenty of room, including a writing desk and an extra day bed, and large bath. The location was perfect, just outside of Bariloche and within walking distance of one of the most amazing views ever. Gaby is a superb cook, no reason to go anywhere else for dinner and the table was always set to perfection, very cosy and romantic. We'll be back to Bariloche and definitely visiting Los Juncos, Flavia and Gaby again.

we can't say enough about Flavia and Gaby (the owners), the location (right off the picturesque lake), the food (Gaby fed us like kings), the fun (felt like family, in a good way!), accomodating excusrions (rafting, horse back riding, kayaking) and how comfortable the beds were!

The only bad thing is now that everyone knows how amazing this jem is, it'll be harder to get reservations! LOL

We hope to come back during the winter and introduce friends to Bariloche and our friends at Los Juncos.

Los Juncos in Bariloche is a very speciall place ... it a MUST if you decided to visit Bariloche. It's an absolutely wonderfu place, starting with the decoration of the place so different sofisticated creating a unique atmosphere. Flavia is an amazing woman , warm, caring host who clearly loves to take the time to help all her guests. Gaby's food is delicious!!! I have no words to express how we enjoy all his dishes! The incredible music of the hotel, the fresh flowers all around make ourn stay so speciall. Our 5 year old daughter enjoys playing with games that are available in the main room of the place . The location is perfect if you would like to rest is only 20km from Bariloche's center right on the lake. Our choice was to be outside the crowds but not to far so the location for us was perfect!! The rooms were all beautiful and well-decorated, especially the main bar/breakfast/living room area, and the property is well-maintained, clean and again the fresh flowers are all around! My hushband define the style of the place as a "vintage-autochthonous". We highly recomend Los Juncos is great place and it will remain in our memory forever! If you visit Bariloche you must stay at Los Juncos and live your own experience! We hope to return soon!

Not much to add to all the preceding glowing reviews. It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful area. Without doubt the hosts Flavia and Gaby go out of their way to assist you with any request including recommendations for local sight seeing trips. As for the food its excellent - try the lasagna, the best I've ever tasted.

Los Juncos is an absolute gem of Bariloche. The owner, Flavia, and Gabi, the chef are absolutely amazing and made our stay fantastic! Flavia helped us in so many ways, especially with renting a car and giving us directions and a map to do a couple of scenic drives. Every night we came back and had the best food we had our entire 5 week trip around South America courtesy of Gabi. The rooms are all individually decorated and are so cozy that it feels like being at home rather than a hotel. Don't stay anywhere else in Bariloche - we'll definitely be back!
