I have stayed at the Suter Petit on my last 4 trips to San Rafael and it is the most comfortable and pleasant place to stay in San Rafael. The rooms are very clean and modern for San Rafael. Carlos and Maria are very accommodating, but the best part is the small number of rooms all on the ground floor. In addition the porch and view overlooking the pool are really enjoying. It is nice returning here after being out all day and to relax on the porch with a beautiful view and cocktail.

Very nice little hotel, owner managed, Maria and her husband are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and nice, nothing super special for seasoned travelers but overall a great hotel, great value, safe location. Garden and the pool are very nice... Definitely would recommend and I will soon plan a family vacation there as well.

My pal Jeff and I had been fishing in the Junin de Los Andes area this past November for a couple of weeks and decided to head north to get warm and relax. We spent two fantastic days at this hotel. Carlos Suter is a perfect host. I would go back here the next time I visit Mendoza Provence. Added bonus is the Suter Winery right across the street, This boutique hotel is within walking distance of more than one very good restaurant. On the way to San Rafael the fields of lavender were amazing!

Room tip: The single rooms were all very nice.

I enjoyed another 2 night stay here..Carlos and Maria are the most gracious hosts and provide very comfortable and spacious rooms. The patio and grounds are very relaxing. I spend 2 to 3 months per year traveling and exploring Argentina and this hotel is one of my favorite stops. Not to be missed!

Fresh homemade breakfast including breads and jams, great coffee and even eggs are served in a lovely rustic dining area. Clean, refreshing rooms and crisp cotton sheets on the comfortable beds were a treat- wonderful sleep! Large sliding glass windows open to the back terraces and to old lovely olive trees. This hotel is right beside the Suter winery and a lovely Carlos and his family make you feel at home. Great, refreshing and restful place to stay.
