Description: UCO is all about ego-free farm to fork cooking. Everything is prepared in-house, every day. We smoke our own Patagonian trout, cure our own bacon, make own own ice-creams, bake fresh bread daily.... You name it, and we are probably doing it.

UCO Restaurant in Fierro Hotel was first class in all aspects and provided a truly authentic Argentinian Flavor. Al fresco dining in the central garden area was a refreshing and delightful venue for dinner. Service was impeccable and the waitstaff provided lots of little extras like savory lamb bruschetta and fresh breads with a variety of spreads. With an extensive wine list, helpful recommendations from the sommelier and staff, we decided to share the Patagonian leg of lamb with mixed veggies and new potatoes. Slow cooked for 18 hours, the lamb with reduction sauce melted in our mouths and burst with subtle flavor. It was a great value for everything you get. Highly recommended!

Spent our last night in BA at the Fierro. The front desk staff gladly made us reservations at Uco. What an experience. Great food and wine. Don't miss the opportunity to go.

We went last week for lunch on Sunday. The food is great, the wine list is big and reseasonable and the service is excellent! Can't wait to go back!

Uco was a great find for us. We wanted a date night, so we stayed at the hotel (Fierro) where Uco is located. We sat in the outdoor area which was delightful during a quiet semana santa night. We were so disappointed to find out that the tasting menu ended at 22 hrs, so we had to order from the regular menu. However, things always happen for the best. We started with a bottle of Alma Negra brut accompanied with a delectable rabbit patê. Then we had slow roasted lamb and bouillabaisse. We shared both plates and the bouillabaisse was superior. Service was good. We stumbled to our room happily and with a full belly!

We also had breakfast at Uco, and that was amazing! We had home made yogurt, a bakery basket, and an assortment of jams - this was served as you sit down, then you can order your main dish. My partner had pancakes and I had the fried eggs. DELECTABLE! I also found the morning service to be far better than the night service. The only thing that was a bit weird was hearing the main hostess scold a waiter out in the open about picking up the slack for another waiter. I think that kind of feedback is better delivered behind closed doors instead of having it affect our patron experience. With all that said, the food was awesome and we plan to come back.

We ate twice in one week at UCO and it delivered! You taste the flavors and passion of Argentina in every bite! Ask for a wine pairing if you need some input and enjoy.
