The concierge at our hotel recommended this tour for dinner and tango show. We paid $80 per person. A van picked us up and took us to the Restaurant. The restaurant was nice. We had empanada, New York strip steak and flan - it was wonderful. The service was very good. We loved the show - great dancers, orchestra and singers. We had a lovely evening.

We were truly wowed by this performance and loved every minute. The orchestra was wonderful, especially the violinist who performed a very emotional solo. In addition to fantastic tango performances, this show also has performances of traditional rural music and and a beautiful tribute to Peron. The variety and lovely ambiance makes this a very special must see event. The hotel pick up makes it easy and convenient.
All seats were good since it is a small place. You can book it for show and dinner or show only.
Helpful Hint: Beware of video sales of the tango show being sold by venders after the show. Since videos and photos are not allowed in the theater we bought one but it wasn’t the show we saw and it wouldn’t work on most of our devices. It made me glad we saw the show we did because the la ventana tango show we saw was much better than the show on the video.

The show itself, which is what we came for, was astounding in its variety, energy and and excellence. There are just some great individual performances, not all tango. So we had to get over the weird bus ride and the officious front desk people--why should that undercut a great night out, anyway, right? We did the wine tasting before the show, and the sommelier was really knowledgeable and a good guy. The dinner was good, and the service excellent. Be prepared for a long and pleasurable evening. But the dancers and performers are the thing, and they were awesome--very personable and related to the audience.

Not absolutely sure that this would be my thing but have to admit it was great. The buses to these types of events can be frustrating as the pick up time given is usually for the first pick up but as we were the first it was punctual. At the next hotel it was frustrating that we had to wait about 10 minutes as the people being collected "were in the middle of packing" and at the third nobody appeared at all after a short wait. Nevertheless we were delivered on time. The return journey had two drop offs before us and we were last. We were shown to our table on the same level as the entrance in front of a fairly small stage. We chose our three course meal and as two of us weren't drinking had one bottle of a pleasant Malbec between the other two. We all enjoyed the food and one commented that it was the best steak she had had and after another 15 days in South America was still of the same opinion. After our main courses the orchestra joined the stage and was soon joined by the tango dancers and subsequently by a Gaucho display and a female vocalist. We were treated to about an hour and half of slickly choreographed entertainment. The orchestra was talented and was made up of a bass player, a pianist, a guitarist and accordionist. Each one featured as a solo player at one point. All the artists appeared to be enjoying themselves. We we well entertained. Thoroughly recommended
