We had two stays at this lovely little boutique hotel; well located and easy to get to from either airport. Right in the middle of Recoletta, with lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were very freindly and helpful.

Room Tip: Top two floors (6 or 7)

This hotel is lovely, the staff were very helpful. It was close to the harbor (for cruise departures), close to a couple tourist attraction, like La Recoleta Cemetery . People in Buenos Aires were very friendly.

I was very impressed with the Serena Hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed if not luxurious. To the person who said that it was a pity there were only 4 hangers, I found a phone call to reception produced as many hangers as I wanted within a couple of minutes! For me it's a pity that there are only showers in most of the rooms. I stayed for 4 days initially and then one more night at the end of my holiday prior to returning home. When I said I would like to have a bath they upgraded me to a suite for my final night. All the staff are very efficient and helpful and breakfast was good. It's a pity that they don't serve food in the evenings as it would have been quite nice not to have to go out on the first night. However, there are many restaurants nearby and Recoleta is a very safe area and I felt quite happy to walk alone late at night. Little courtyard where you can have a drink is very nice but pity bar closes very early so you can't have a nightcap when you get back after dinner.

Room Tip: High floor to avoid traffic noise although double glazing is good. A suite if you want a bath and they look into the central courtyard.

I don't think there were many people staying in this hotel at the time that we were there. We usually had breakfast alone and the pool to ourselves. The design of this hotel is lovely and the outside seating area is a delightful place to enjoy a drink after a hard days sightseeing. Not a buzzy area and not many restaurants but v handy for the Bullrich shopping centre and walking distance to Recoleta cemetery.

We stayed 3 nights here. The staff are charming and helpful, the rooms are modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent location for local restaurants and for walking around, and taxi trips to the main attractions are short. Highly recommended.
