We were drawn to this bar exploring the area around our hotel in the Palermo area because of it’s welcoming appearance and the fact that we saw a lot of locals there. Service was slow by American standards, but gave you time to people watch and drink in an authentic Argentinian lunch atmosphere. The servers were attentive, personable and gave us good recommendations in English for lunch. There is outside dining also. Our favorite was the Rocio with salmon, guacamole, cashews, lettuce, rice, etc. Great choice coffees and a good choice of local food make Birkin a good choice for lunch.
