We got to this hotel on the 9th of November and we were only staying for one night before our flight to Cebu the next morning. As it was close to the airport, we thought it would be fine for one night.

When we pulled up to the hotel the outside didn’t look great. When we got into the hotel, it seemed fine, basic but fine. We were then taken to our room which also looked clean enough and fine for one night.

However, we were going out to get some food when we seen a rat/mouse run across the hall on our floor which is disgusting. This impacted our stay a lot as I was so worried about it getting into our room.

We were supposed to stay in this hotel again at the end of our trip but we have cancelled it and booked another hotel instead. I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Arrived here absolutely exhausted after 20 hours of travelling and due to fly to el nido the following day. The hotel appeared clean and simple until a rat ran into our room from under the door. We both screamed and it ran back out under the door. It appeared all the doors had a huge gap at the bottom so rats etc have no issue getting into peoples rooms. I found this disgusting and quite disturbing to be honest and when I told the receptionist she didn’t seem bothered that there was a rat running around on the third floor of a hotel going into peoples rooms while they slept. There is a KFC underneath the hotel and they just leave the hotel door open at the main reception so no wonder rats etc can get inside the hotel. For £30 a night I would not expect rats in my hotel room. Was glad to leave the next day.

We stayed at this hotel during a 12 hour layover at Manila airport on our way to Japan. The price was low and it was close to the airport, so we thought it would do for the evening.

What an awful decision. We walked from the airport to the hotel, avoiding several unidentifiable rodents and dodgy characters on the way. The hotel was next to a KFC, which may or may not have been serving chicken. The hotel was also surrounded by several 24 hour karaoke bars, which polluted our ears for the duration of our stay.

We paid the full amount online before we arrived, however the woman on the check-in desk asked for our passports as a ‘deposit’. With a flight in 12 hours, we weren’t risking losing our ticket out of this hellhole, so we left a driving license instead. We were led up to the room by a scary-looking man. He turned on the air conditioning unit in our room which sounded like aeroplane taking off, but constantly. The only silver lining was that this drowned out the noise of the local failed popstars in the increasingly offensive karaoke bars below.

The decor might have been nice 40 years ago before several violent crimes stained the walls, curtains and floor. There was no hot water to shower and the bedsheets weren’t clean. Surprisingly, we managed to get a few hours sleep and made a swift escape next morning.

0/10 would not recommend (unless you want to use it as a set for a horror film)

Parked for 5 days, someone had stolen the cap of 1 of the rear tires and let the air out leaving us with a flat tire, plus doodled on the window. And paying at the exit, the female cashier purposely kept the extra hundred we inordinately paid with, and when questioned purposely let the coins fall to the ground to distract us. She obviously has practice short-changing rattled travelers. Beware.

Has to be the biggest joke of a airport in the world. Arrive on international flight. Have to collect bags then pass through the usual then leave the airport either catch a shuttle bus with 1hour wait or line up for taxi for 1hour and catch a cab to terminal 2 and no taxi wants to do this. Then go through security to get back in then line up for checkin. Can hear your flight being called but the staff won’t let you jump the que. finally get passed all the usual and sprint to your plane. It’s 2019 how do they not have a internal transfer system between terminals.
