We were at Solaire for a short break and also watch Miss Saigon.
Stayed in one of the Skytower suites. Room is a good size, clean and very nice bathroom. Okada rooms are nicer though. However, Solaire charm and service way better. From the doormen and security who greet you as you arrive to the waitstaff at the food outlets and gym crew, they are all Old World mannered. Complete good morning and evening greetings, proper evening turn down - even the security offficer who mans the elevator lobby's is very polite. Did a vey quick check-in and it was nice of them to have an entire yummy cheesecake in our room for my wife's birthday.
Location is very good near to SM MOA and the airport, easy to get around if there is a need to leave the property.
The Gym is well equipped and not crowded. The pool gets very crowded.
The food outlets are good and the waitstaff is very attentive. Food is also good especially at Red Lantern. Even the food court in the casino has good food.
The only downside to the Hotel is the cigarette smoke in the lobby, cafe and general areas. It rekes cigarette smell everywhere, Okada is better where this is concerned. I understand it is a casino and almost everyone smokes, however, it is a concern that can be improved with good engineering.
