breakfast are great. very good location for my purposed. staff are well oriented and always ready to extend some help. room price is average. pricey but not cheap. will recommend for sure!!More

I really wanted to like Mella Hotel since it was the closest hotel from family's house. Unfortunately, they fell short on a lot of things. We stayed for 7 nights.
Breakfast: Limited food/drink options. If you have breakfast after 9am most of the dishes are gone and they do not refill. We ordered eggs from the "egg station" and were told that they will bring cooked eggs to table...never got them and had to ask the one of the servers. This happened twice. The last 2 days we decided to have breakfast somewhere else due to being disappointed every single morning.
Staff/Service: Most were friendly, but they work like robots. During check out they asked me about missing face towels, which housekeeping never brought since they didn't have any clean ones the day before. I was actually told this by housekeeping.
Rooms: Rooms are clean (expected since it's a newer hotel) and spacious. We booked 3 rooms and 1 room had an issue with water leaking from AC unit. Took 4 calls before it was fixed. Another room (our room) had issues with water drainage in shower.

Likes:outstanding interior lobby, nice interior and clean rooms, the food was good during buffet however it's limited, nice pool landscape, affordable rate, courteous staff
Dislikes: no hot chocolate during breakfast, my stay was unpleasant and not seamless
misfortunes:
-around 7:15AM after breakfast, i decided to take a swim. There's no pool attendant and waited for 10 mins. My temper went up because of the mosquitoes. When the attendant (MARVIN) came, i complained that Ive been waiting for so long and he told me in a "sarcastic way" that I should've signed the logbook and he will provide me the towel. My perception was He let me feel that Im stupid. I didn't know that your pool policy was not so strict. In other 5 star hotels, you're not allowed to swim without signing the logbook.
He could've apologized instead. I didn't say anything and signed the logbook.
-I decided to take a lunch at Veranda inside the Mella, I was not given the exact changed after I paid my bill
-when i check out the hotel, i was asked to pay the extra breakfast that I availed. I didnt avail the extra breakfast, i went there as a solo traveler, they found out it was a mistake because of the room number. They could've apologized to me, felt so embarassed.

I am very impressed in every details.
I have been contacting the hotel through email since my first try through phone call was not successful.
They have been responsive and replied in every inquiry I did.
Upon arriving there, I was very impressed with their service, with the venue and their staffs.
Clean and very organized.
All of their staffs are accommodating and respectful.
I forgot my cellphone in the buffet area and when I came to check the staff is running to me to return my cellphone.
The price is very reasonable for a quality stay

I celebrated my Natal Day in this hotel last 22JUN19 Saturday then check out the next day. We came here for the swimming pool cause we do not have time anymore to travel and classes just started for a quick vacay. Mella Hotel is a good place for this.
Likes:well lighted, well ventilated, love the ambiance, accommodating and friendly staff. Free Wifi and parking space.
Dislikes: swimming pool water is so painful in the eyes- gosh we came here for this yet did not really enjoyed swimming at all. Foul odour during our stay. I do not know where that came from however it really stank while we were here. Long queue in checking-in and out. Un-able to do online booking so I have to do that over the phone. I also hope that windows were see through without any hindrance of the view inexception of the blinds of course.

My fiance and I decided to destress from work and we wanted to try this hotel for so long! From the outside, it’s very inviting and our overnight stay was well worth it. We were accommodated profesionally by the front desk staff named Alvin. Check in was quick and efficient. We tried their cafe which served the best cheesecake ever and we were able to get a discount because it’s already night time. Most of all, their gym was amazing! It’s very spacious and equipments were complete. I think they practice self service at the gym. Luckily, I was very much comfortable being alone working out. The amenities in the restroom seem luxurious. The pool area was very nice and the pool itself had less chlorine. It just felt very clean and new. Breakfast items were delicious as well. My only recommendation would be to add more variety. Nevertheless, we enjoyed breakfast as we sat by the window overlooking the pool area. Staffs there were very kind too! Definitely a nice hotel to relax and destress. We would love to go back and try the massage too because that’s the one we were not able to try.
