We drove the short road over Chapman's Peak on the way back to Cape Town from Cape Point. We had timed it to be able to stop and watch the sun set. Fortunately we were a bit early, since there are very few parking spots. It's a pretty drive, great ocean viewing, and interesting "tunnel" construction to protect from landslides.
The sunset honestly was nothing spectacular, mostly because there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so nothing to reflect the colors. It was nice though, to watch a couple of boats returning to Hout Bay after a day of fishing, and to see the lights of the city coming on and reflecting on the water.
