My mom and I decided to treat ourselves with a beachfront hotel with a view of the ocean. We decided on the Blue Waters Hotel. After eventually finding parking, I made my way to front desk, my first impression was cold and uninviting. The lady who checked me in, (Nozipho), was not friendly, unhelpful and gave me the wrong opening times for the dolphin bar. When I asked if it was possible for a late check out I was told that, I, yes me the paying guest, would need to call later and ask the duty manager. My mom and i wanted to go see the sites and walk around, so i asked Nozipho if it was possible to leave some bags at reception As out room was not ready yet. She said yes, so I went to get the bags. When I got back to reception with my bags for check-in, I heard Nozipho offering another guest a porter to help with the their, bit confused I asked Nozipho why I was not afforded the same Hospitality. Unable to answer me or just plain blanking me out, she called Bhenkhane over to assist me, he came over tagged our bags and handed me back the tags.
Parking is around the back of the hotel, all went smooth no issues Moesie was very courteous and helpful. Barely down the ramp and our assigned parking bay is on the left. Parking bay 5. Unpack the rest of our luggage and head for our room.
Bhenkhane was waiting at reception with our stored luggage. We headed to our room. Room Was nice but I felt it missed something. Bhenkhane was very helpful and knowledgeable about the phone number of each department.
Not even 5mins In the room and the phone rings, its front desk, Nozipho made a mistake and booked the wrong parking bay, she accidently assigned the owner of the hotels parking bay to me, so could i come down now and move my car to the newly assigned correct parking bay, huh?
Long story short this comedy of errors carried on up until we checked out Monday morning 16 July 2018.

Bumped into Lindy (Guest services Manager) the on duty duty manager. She was Friendly, courteous and helpful. With the hope that she might be of more help than a blog or review I have forwarded all my complaints etc to her. Blue Waters Hotel... Service is not an extra it's given!
