We were drawn back to this venue for the third time in five years, and given good health we will visit it again. John, the owner, was away this time, but we know and appreciate his personal oversight. Lenon and the other staff made our visit (and especially the breakfast served with a beautiful view of the valley down to the sea) as memorable as always, and we enjoyed the swimming pool and peaceful log cabin accommodation very much. Wifi in our room was poor, but why waste time on electronic communication when the venue offers so much more in terms of general relaxation. A bit outside Plettenberg Bay itself, a car is needed to enjoy the manifold touristic attractions the area offers, e.g. the beach, Tsitsikamma and Nature's Valley.

A bit out of the centre of Plettenberg, but the view was amazing. The garden was beautiful.

In the room the wifi was good and a minibar/fridge and coffee/tea facilities were available. The shower and bed were nice.

Breakfast was nice and the owner was really friendly! Every morning he gave us tips on where to go to and the must sees in the area.

We stayed three nights in this lodge; this is really a place from where you can do anything; Tsitsikamma is also nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpfull to answer all your questions. Nice garden with pool, too.
