Part of our Travel Marvel Tour was 2 day stay in Sapa at the Bamboo Hotel. What a charmer! Clean, comfortable, homely with the most spectacular views of the magnificent mountains. It was hard to be tempted away from our balcony as we took in the many moods of the mountain....breakfast, coffee, happy hour.. Sunset..just pondering the beauty. The hotel is very convenient to the town centre yet just far enough away to be a quiet space. Would I go back...yes, yes, yes.

After two days of trekking we had a good staying at the hotel. Rooms were really confortable, with everything we needed, despite they were bit old. Cleaning was at god level. Breakfust was offering a lot of different choice.
Location is right in the middle of Sapa and despite this, there were no noise at all in the rooms.

Do not hesitate to book this hotel if you love to stay in a lovely comfortable place at the best value of what you pay for.

Bamboo Sapa is a real 3 star hotel certificated by the government, It have best clean fresh view to Sapa valley and Fansipan Montanan while it is still in the center of Sapa, that I like the most. Very few hotels in sapa can earn these futures.

The bed is the most conformable through out our hotel stay in Vietnam, while its staff always goes far away to ensure you have best time in Sapa.

We come back neck summer.

Room Tip: Room on the main building

We stayed a couple of nights. Originally booked into a different hotel that was having building work done so we were strangely upgraded to the Bamboo Sapa Hotel executive suite. Normal price about $50/60. After a frustrated taxi ride we were more than pleasantly surprised to see our room was beautiful, spacious, large windows overlooking the views. Complimentary tea/ coffee and cake with comfy seats and a coffee table positioned under the windows. Bed was HUGE and comfortable. Lovely rain shower too. We decided to stay another night after a motorbike trip and booked a standard room online...DON'T!

They have an older building which is tired, old and shabby. No air conditioning and mould in the bathroom. We refused to stay there and were moved into a superior room in the main building for $6 more. Worth it! Still not as luxurious as the executive room but still a good view, huge bed and nice bathroom.

Breakfast buffet has a lot on offer and staff helped organise our train/ taxi out of Sapa.

So in summary if you are going to stay here only book a superior room or above!

We spent one night & found it to be very comfortable. The view was stunning out to the mountains & close enough to the town centre for an easy walk but far enough away to be out of the real hustle & bustle. Beds were firm (but we like them that way) and massive. The water pressure in the shower wasnt the best though. The staff were friendly, helpful & accommodating. We did find other patrons smoking in the restaurant a bit of a turn off but this seems to be an acceptable thing in Vietnam that we are no longer used to in Australia.
