We took tree climbing and rappelling and all I can say is that both of them were extremely fun and exciting.
Yuhnier and his father are great host and guides. They give a family and friendly touch.
You wont regret to take their service.
For sure we will be back.

This is a very well run family operation. We were picked up at our hotel in Santa elena and driven 10 mins out of town to a beautiful farm estate. After some quick instructions we were off for the tree climb.

The pandemic has hit the tourism industry hard like everywhere else. The two us were the only ones but that didn't diminish the enthusiasm of our guides the slightest bit.

The tree climb is exhilarating and you neehisd to be in reasonable shape to get to the top. We were absolutely thrilled to get to the topmost platform where we saw the last vestiges of a beautiful orange purple sunset over the forest. The wind was hard so we climbed up from the inside and back down from the inside as well though I believe on calmer says you can rappel from the outside. We were properly harnessed with safety cords and felt safe at all times despite the crazy height we had just ascended (132 ft)

After the climb we were off for the night walk which was outstanding. Junior, our guide, is the son of the proprietor but this is not some random casual walk. He was carrying a professional scope, lots of wildlife books for reference and was extremely knowledgeable. For two hours non stop he was explaining in great detail about the forest, the trees and plants and the insect and animal life. We saw a lot of critters but every night is bound to be different. What stood out was his enthusiasm and affection for his natural surroundings.

After all this we were driven to a restaurant for hot pizza and drinks. Can't recommend this experience enough, particularly if you get to go out with junior.
