We enjoyed a relaxing escape from winter here. Oceanfront suite well furnished, staff very friendly and helpful, food in restaurant excellent. We especially liked happy hour and dinner up in the bar and lounge. Thanks to Jorge for such great service! The front desk attended to our every need.

I stayed at another nearby hotel and struggled to find a Spa in the area. I stumbled across this hotel's Spa and was very pleased. Heidi and Argentina provided excellent service. I had the Deep Tissue Message, Pedicure and Organic Facial - all were wonderful. Much more relaxing outside in fresh air than being indoors. While I didn't stay at the hotel itself, staff were pleasant and outside dining, pool area and beach access were enviable as I was staying a little ways off the beach.
This hotel had a lovely location right on Hermosa Beach. The hotel itself is a 3 star, the best thing about it is the landscaping. The service in the dining room and bar were awful. It took an hour and five minutes from the time we sat down to get our lunch. We tried to order food with our beverages, and were sent a different server which just caused confusion. People seated after us were served before us (they complained to the front desk after ordering) and there was just two other people in the restaurant while we were there. The doors to the rooms are “sticky” to say the least. The manager told me it has to be “pulled forward, then pushed down” and opened a certain way when I explained I couldn’t get it open after trying for nearly 10 minutes. The bar drinks are not worth ordering - there is no alcohol in them at all, and this wasn’t even at happy hour when we would expect drinks may be watered down.
The rooms were clean for the most part, there were little dead bugs near the bedside table, but being this close to the beach and in CR this is to be expected. The bathroom amenities were nice, the blow dryer was not useable in our room. Overall our stay was overpriced - there are hotels and air BNB places close to the beach to be found for a lot more value.
Pros-Lovely hotel-wonderful location-exceptional friendly service. Garden view Rooms are like being in a treehouse- monkeys and iguanas abound!!! Rooms are very clean and really are like suites with living room and balcony. Beach amazing!

Close to airport, solid 3 star hotel. Too expensive during holidays. Rooms are modest, but have junior suites with small sofa bed. Sofa bed had a thin and sagging mattress, very uncomfortable to sleep on, but the beds in the main room were good. Pool is small, landscaping is nothing spectacular but enough greenery. Very convenient location on a quieter side of the beach. Dining area is spacious, with nice views. Service is a bit slow but friendly. Food is ok. Note that during holidays the beach is very crowded. Beach has fine sand and shallow waters which are perfect for small kids.

This pool, beach, shared room place is located just 26 minutes from the Liberia airport. We spent New Year’s Day here and we’re able to find parking and beach chairs on a pretty popular and aptly named beautiful beach. While the rooms are not well lit because of the jungle they are shaded and well equipped. We saw monkeys and iguanas while lounging at the pool. The whole snapper at the restaurant should not be missed! We revealed with a five year old who also highly recommends this place :)
