Hotel El Velcro is a charming small hotel on a gorgeous beach! The staff is warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the restaurant serves excellent food! We had a lovely 6 night stay. We highly recommend this sweet hotel!

Having coffee available before the restaurant opens is always a plus in my book.
Amazing location and a great value. 2nd time in Hermosa and first time staying in this hotel. It is no frills but clean and comfortable. Great bed and pillows, plenty of hot water & shower pressure. Last time we stayed in the "nicest" hotel on the beach and honestly we liked it here better as it is in a prime location for sunsets & swimming. The on-site restaurant is more than decent and you have other options to walk to for variety. Close to Liberia and a great jump off point for excursions. We will certainly stay here again. Have to say though Communication from front desk was nonexistent at check in, the girl who doesn't smile. Didn't tell us about Taco Tuesday, BBQ nights, entertainment, or that is advised to make reservations for dinner. Restaurant does not cater to hotel guests. Twice we were left scrambling when hungry. That being said we will return. They have about 8 real beach loungers, the rest are older style, unadjustable chairs but comfortable for reading. Sunsets are a 10/10
We spent ten days here and it was absolutely fantastic. All the staff was fabulous. I must apologize as I can't remember everyones name in the restaurant, but each and every one of them were wonderful. Every single one of them! The grounds were very nice and rooms were great. Jenny was a rock star, so friendly and sweet and kept our room spotless.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years. They have made so many wonderful upgrades. The best mattress/pillows in the renovated room we had ♥️
Joshua is still on top of everything. Gaby took great care of all our needs from the reception area. The entire staff are friendly and there to take care of you.
The food was excellent, as always.
We stayed a week and used the location as our base camp! This is the best beach and boutique hotel and, as you can tell, we HIGHLY recommend it.
We are looking forward to our next trip there.
If you are flying into Liberia either start or end your trip here but be sure to stay longer than overnight. We have stayed here 7 times and every stay has been wonderful. Good food, walk right onto the sand. Attentive staff, clean rooms, and great pillows!
