After a late arrival to a place I'd never been (& traveling alone), their shuttle service was convenient and the hotel was clean. While it's the closest hotel to the airport, I don't believe there is a way to walk there without walking in the street (I believe I had the impression from the hotel site you could walk). The staff were friendly - I'd stay there again.

Staying at this hotel was an ideal solution after a long flight. We were picked up by a shuttle and then we quickly found ourselves in the room after a speedy check in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything you needed to get settled. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with many options. They were even kind enough to get a decaf coffee for me.
The food was grossly overpriced, the room smelled of sewage and the hotel needs upkeep. At the prices, this hotel is no where near a three star. Terrible end to a great stay in costa rica. Will avoid Hilton in the future based on this experience.
Room was adequate for an overnight stop after arrival or before departure. Spacious but a bit tatty. We weren't there long enough to use pool though. Very convenient for airport and car hire pick ups.
After a long flight from Europe, it was so nice to enjoy a very timely transfer to the hotel. The hotel was an excellent experience and we could continue our vacation in Costa Rica in a very refreshed way the next morning.
We stayed twice, once when we flew in and once when we flew out. The first time was nice. Friendly staff, decent food ok room. Noisy air conditioner but not unusual for hotels. Return trip staff decided it was ok to allow an after hours pool party. Our room was directly by the pool had to call at 1 am to have it shut down. Splashing, screaming laughing, banging tables etc. Additionally our room (103)was directly adjacent to the gym which is open 24 hours. Lots of banging. And lastly the toilet only flushed sometime and again noisy air conditioner my husband is 80 and we had an early flight. Needless to say we were flying on no sleep!
The property itself is beautiful for this level of hotel. Decent restaurant and bar, gift shop and snack shop. Staff was very helpful and the shuttle to airport was very helpful
