We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was so cool to stay directly in the rainforest. Staff was great and very attentive. We enjoyed the daily breakfast with authentic Costa Rican cuisine. We hope to visit again.

It is tough to beat the views here. Perfect view of the volcano from the main restaurant and pool area. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you don’t have a rental car you’ll have to remember that you are not really within walking distance of much but there’s always the option of a cab or tour service. We felt very at home walking around the kush grounds of the resort.

A few things that could use improvement: The room was pretty spartan... one dresser or a comfy chair would be a welcome addition (at least to the room we stayed in 305). The bathroom in ours was enormous and kind of cheesy with the waterfall shower. The regular shower was busted and water was gushing out all over so showers were mediocre after a full day of hiking and exploring. The toilet also need some fixing in our room. WiFi was pretty spotty, but that’s to be expected.

Overall a fantastic stay and gorgeous views. Next time maybe we’d upgrade to a slightly nicer room.

We stayed here 2 nights as part of the Monkey Tours group and it has some of the most beautiful views. The views of the volcano right outside our hotel room were unreal. The pool was gorgeous and naturally heated by thermic heat. The bar was a nice place to land and decompress after a day of travel. Of course we tried a chili guaro drink at the bar and it was to die for! The best we’ve had so far. This was an actual drink whereas the others were a shot that you sipped on. The staff at the hotel were so friendly – from check in where we received a welcome juice drink to the bartender to the café crew – we were treated with friendly smiles and helpfulness the entire time. t set up I’ve ever seen. There was even a hot tub on our patio that we never tried out. Our tv remote was missing a battery and the staff was super quick to rush one to us. The rooms were so so spacious. One king sized bed and one queen in our room. The best part was the bathroom – a waterfall shower with rock formations were the coolest. Yes, there were bugs everywhere but it’s natural. They didn’t bother us or get into our luggage [keep your luggage off the floor to prevent this]. There is no gym on site, perhaps something we could suggest but I guess it’s not common to work out while on vacation. We got a nice hill workout in which was easy on these grounds. We recommend have excursions planned since the grounds are very small and the pool is pretty much the only thing to keep you entertained.

Room Tip: Rooms near the pool can access wi-fi!
