Traveling home from PCB with 3 generations. Wide variety lunch menu. All options were excellent. If you order the Philadelphia steak sandwich make sure that you tell them you want a cheese other than cheddar. We enjoyed the crabcake the shrimp and the salmon. Excellent children’s menu and wide variety of vegetables. Dessert was also a hit. Full bar if you are not the DD.

Traveling thru on our way to Montgomery. Quaint old bar with nice dining room. First good burger on our month long trip - with seasoned fries. Bacon and spinach quiche was loaded and flavorful. Served with a side salad and tomato basil soup. I think the blue cheese dressing is homemade. Good sized portions.
Friendly service.

Only good upscale place in Eufaula to eat. Can get crowded on wkend. Try their fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, they are very good. Steak is good, shrimp and grits are a good choice. Good service, reserve. Recommended on wkend.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our meals here. I had the smoked pork chop which was moist and flavorful along with a side salad that was good size and had a nice variety of ingredients. The balsamic vinaigrette was not the best but decent. My husband had the Pablo encrusted grouper with the sweet potato casserole and he loved both of these.

Overall, a letdown, which is a little better than a "disappointment." $85 got us 2 glasses of the house wine; my wife's salad, prime rib (the special), cheese grits and bread pudding. My meal consisted of the loaded baked potato soup, blackened grouper with a hollandaise sauce accompanied by 2 shrimp and some crabmeat, and creme' brule'e for desert. The prime rib was a large portion, but the quality of the grade of meat seemed to be lacking overall as it was very fatty and chewy. My grouper had good taste, but the size of the portion was pretty thin for the price ($20). The soup was probably the best I've had of that variety, but was lukewarm. Both sides were good in size and quality. Deserts were the high point. Both were really excellent.
The grill is in an old (1870) building with a bar and tables in the front and more tables in the back. The back room could be real nice with addition of saloon-style doors in both breezeways to the kitchen (to hide the storage shelving for restaurant supplies) and also one to the hallway leading to the bathrooms. For a small monetary investment it would clean up the appearance remarkably. As it is, no less that 8 tables are subjected to staring through both breezeways during dinner.
The Grill had come highly recommended by friends. We thought it came up a bit short of our expectations and their hype.
