I stayed here for a night and was part of a training batch.
As I entered the hotel, exterior didn't give much of the warnings but the hotel lacks the basic sense of hygiene and comfort.
Although mine was a corporate booking, hotel had sent the confirmation mail, i had called up prior to reaching etc, the room was not ready (i reached around 5 pm). The front desk person was yelling at somebody over phone for not keeping the room ready. Delay wasn't substantial, but it was telling about how things run here.
Once in the room, was greeted by flies and mosquitoes. When asked to sort out, the solution was - open the window and chase them out.
Bathroom was smelly and run down and you could hardly see yourself in the mirror (ref: pictures)
I had asked for iron and was provided with one. They do not have any board to iron on. There were only 2 plug points near the tv. When asked where and how to iron, the staff removed all the coffee maker stuff from a small table, placed them on a chair nearby and looked at me :) language was a barrier too !
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Eventually asked him to get one bed sheet at least to put on the table. Somehow managed to iron and then I had to keep the entire coffee maker kit back on the table.
For the night dinner, I ordered in. It was good quantity of Biriyani but could only eat part of it as it was too greasy and below average in taste.
The fan in the room was so noisy that for couple of minutes i was wondering if it was coming from the street. And yes some mosquitoes were still very much in the room.
Morning complementary breakfast was terrible. They tried to imitate any other business hotel buffet. But lack of standard, quality and hygiene was evident all over including the staff. Uniforms were unkempt. All the food kept were cold (8am in the morning) Hence asked for a Dosa. That's all I could eat.
Conference day- the cloth covering the coffee table was so stained that white of the cloth was almost invisible.
The boy who was serving tea coffee was throwing the sachets and trash on the floor right at his feet !!
Washrooms are one floor below and i have seen better public urinals for sure.
Why are you in business if you can't guarantee basic comforts and amenities???
