Best budget property for overnight stay near Chennai airport. Got stuck on the cyclone and booked the hotel at the last minute. The hotel is average but the staff and owner we r out of the way to make us comfortable. With the internet, mobile and electricity, collapsing in the city. They still managed to keep us safe and did not overcharge us for anything. Great work guys.
In 1st alloted room flush not working. In 2nd TV and Intercom not working. One mobile number given to contact reception due to not working of intercom but they never picks calls. Bed is so deep so can't sleep two person easily. No response from reception. Bathroom always wet due to water of AC. Only two led lights ok 2 not working. No lights in basin area where glass given. In food menu approx 100 item showing but available only 2 or 3. No nearby any food court or restaurant upto 1.5-2 km. Toilet space is such that legs touch the wall. On website showing servicing of OTT and wifi but no password available with reception and no Netflix run. Reception manager always on mobile or tab or laptop with earplugs he is not interested to solve complain. No ventilation one window given but curtains of windows is jammed and not openable.So terrible experience.
The pictures are not matching , some are from google downloaded , I complained about my room so they have upgraded my room which was even worst . Someone went to shower before me and there was hair in the drain , toilet was not flushed , there was no plumbing in hand wash so I wash my hand and my feet got wet . This is a true example the movie the best exotic marigold hotel 😐😐. There was no lift I walked 3 stories , windows were so dirty so the curtain and bed sheets/ pillow cover …it’s so normal to have special insence or plug in device for mosquitoes across india but here the room was full of mosquitoes . The building is in poor residential area up to 1.5 km in the narrow road . So if you need train you should walk or get a taxi 1.5 km . with no shopping or food place . You need taxi to reach to airport . It is not the nearest to airport there are few more but they didn’t advertise so well online . that’s why I found them later . I ve attached few pictures of my both rooms specially “luxury rooms” . The door doesn’t lock from outside ,
Their towels were so dirty . There was no toilet rolls , no window opens for air flow . Would I eat there ? I stayed hungry till morning then I got a taxi to roam around the town to kill 10 h time before my flight
He should upload true pictures and people can choose if they like to stay there or not . But I found the pictures like a trap .
Nice people. Pleasant stay. Reasonable price. Food is tasty. Only one minus point there is no lift. And car parking area is too small. But it is not a problem as the room boys helped us to carry luggage and to park the car.
Room & Mattress & surroundings are kept clean. Generally OK. But the fluch tank was not getting filled, water was leaking, though it was attended. Located at a narrow street, difficult to park & take out car.
