R adda is a lovely place to spend your night dancing, eating and drinking (if you drink).

I went on Wednesday which they had a live India music, the band were just awesome with a lovely music and a very good singer.

The crowd was crazy that day, i had dinner over-there and some mocktails.

The only big problem of the place is the very rude bouncers, as i went again the next day and they almost kicked us because we were asking some questions about the entrance fees difference from one day to another.

On Wednesday we paid INR 3000 per head and we got one table and we used the money we paid for orders, on Thursday they asked for INR 5000 per head or INR 25000 per table.

Other than the bouncers you will love the place and the staff, there was this guy with a big mustache, he is awesome.

Tucked away inside Ramee Guestline Hotel near Juhu Church is this gem of a place.

Now let us start by a warning. If you are one of those, whole likes a quiet, non crowded place where you can have a laid back meal, then this place is DEFINITELY NOT for you.

A youthful crowd, awesome music, sheesha, and delicious food is the shortest way to define this place.

With an army of bouncers, this place keeps a strict control on who is allowed in and who isnt, which ensure that the quality of crowd here is always good.

The music would make you want to dance, the interiors are rustic, and the place stays open till 3am in the morning. What more can you ask for? Well some delicious food.

Even though the Menu is limited ( Kind off expected from a place that is more of a lounge), there is enough in there to make us want to go there just for the food itself.

Our Recommendations :
Cocktail Samosas
Garlic Pepper Mushrooms
Veg Nachos
Teriyaki Tofu Sliders with Wasabi Mayo and Rice Crispies
Caprese Sandwich
Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream
Chocolate Hazelnut Fondant with Vanila Ice Cream
Lipstick Mocktail

Except for the pizza which was kind of average, we mostly loved everything we had. The desserts were especially brilliant, something that you just have to try.

The service was quite good, though there was a little delay in getting our desserts.

The air conditioning in this place seemed to work too well, that we did feel the chill. But then no one else seemed to be effected. Maybe the alcohol was keeping them warm :)

A visit to this place is a must , though we would advice you to try and go there post 10.30pm cause thats when this place really starts happening.

Entering, I had high expectations of the decor and staff, and the pictures of the food served here, that I had seen online added up to the excitement.

Ambiance : I guess the designer took the term “Adda” too seriously whilst designing this space. The wooden ceiling and wall panelling, soon after you leave the lavish entrance foyer, reminds you of a bachelor pad. There’s a guitar and some oversized beer bottle lids with graffiti on them, on the right wall and a mini Hummer facing the bar. There’s a separate section for sheesha that’s less lit and rather gloomy. The air conditioned section which is much larger, houses the bar and has ample, well-spaced seating. I quite liked the bar stools and rustic tables. But the overall look of the entire place is rather dull.

Staff : it’s funny that the jersey/uniform on the staff says “chotu” on each of them. The managers were quite attentive and smart. The serves again were dull and inattentive. One of them messed up our order inspite of coming back to us to confirm one of the toppings on the pasta. He messed up the actual pasta itself. The manager though was smart enough to cover it up, saying the pasta that we want isn’t available, that’s why they ended up making it the way it was.

Food : a small and precise menu. One side has vegetarian dishes with quirky names, the flip side of the menu has non-vegetarian dishes. The alcohol menu though was more elaborate. Ordering, I knew I was in some whacky food presentation.

Mocktail :
•Lipstick - a strawberry based mocktail, served in a martini glass, my most preferred mocktail of the night.
•Safe Sex on the Beach - served in a light bulb shaped glass, water lemon based mocktail.
•Hookah Lemonade - green apple and mint based drink.
•Orange Basil - highly recommend this lovely citrusy drink, basil leaves cut the tanginess and the over-all taste is really good.

Appetisers :
•Fish and Chips Taco - R’Adda’s signature dish, in house baos, filled with crispy, deep fried fish, fresh julienned veggies, and topped with chilli and mayo sauces, no wonder it’s their best seller.
•Cocktail Samosas - presented on a miniature push-cart, small Samosas, slit, and served with nylon sev, tamarind chutney and mint chutney.
•Jalapeño Poppers - perfect finger food, nice kick from the jalapeño, cheesy inside and crisp crust on the outside. Served with a chilly mayo dip and some julienned veggies.
•Adda Chakna Platter : my favourite dish of the night. Presented in a larger version of the miniature push-cart, included masala papad, aloo chat, chana chat, tamarind chutney, mint chutney, chaklis and a mixed groundnut chat. You might not need any other appetiser once you’ve ordered this.
•Smoked Cottage Cheese with Thai Peanut Sauce topped with Edamame Crumble - grilled and smoked paneer steaks served on a bed of sweet peanut sauce, and that crispy Edamame crumble, altogether a burst of flavours in the mouth.

Mains :
•Jackpot Pizza - as the name suggests this Pizza is pretty much like hitting the jackpot as you get to devour four types of pizzas in one.
•Pav Bhaji Fondue - Unlike most fondues that I’ve come across lately, the dip isn’t cheese based, in fact there isn’t any cheese in the dip at all. It’s your typical bhaji, just creamier and way better.
•Penne Pasta with Creamy Tomato Sauce topped with Broccoli and Olives - the Pasta was al Dante, tomato sauce was creamy and tangy, broccoli was fresh and had a bite, but the dish needed more black olives.

Dessert :
•Chocolate Hazelnut Fondant Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream - from what I had read about the desserts here, I was excited to try all three, but by the end of our meal, we were to full to try them all, so this fondant cake seemed the most tempting, hence, this! Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hazelnut crumble and a chocolate stick, a mouthful of the crumble, ice cream and the fondant cake was a great melody of textures and flavours in the mouth. A must try dessert if you’re here.

Since R’Adda also serves sheesha and alcohol, the food hear absolutely compliments the two. If they work on their staff, this pub is the go-to place for those looking for the latter.

We were there at R'Adda for office holiday party.

The party was suppose to be unlimited drinks and food.

Staff - staff was not help full and didn't care about our orders the average order time was ~2 hours before it reached, they had no smile, it literally felt like we are not welcome over there - again note the place was not super crowded.

Food - above average but never got food on time, we ordered food at 9:00pm and came on table at 11:30pm, sadly we never got to eat.

Ambience - good ambience but nothing unusual for Juhu

Final bill 1.2lacks.
Will I go again - definitely not.
