A very nice & well maintained temple of the Goddess Kali. It's very close to Mall Road & is very easily accessible, once you get there you're greeted by a nice & serene temple - the main temple of Goddess Kali & a smaller temple of Lord Shiva - and a great view of Shimla town, and of course the quintessential Shimla monkeys. It's easy to just sit in the temple for a couple of hours and just watch the view.

To go to Kali Bari temple, you can take the Lift to Mall Road and walk for 15 - 20 mins. You can reach this place after crossing the Ridge, Scandal Point, Post Office.

I reached the temple while the evening 'Aarti' was being performed. Felt good after attending the Puja.

If you are interested in Bengali meals, you may want to have lunch or/and dinner at the temple at very reasonable rates. The Lunch timing is 11:00AM to 2:00 PM. The dinner time starts @7:30PM.
Overall a nice and good place to visit in Shimla.
