Purple greene ..As the name suggests this one is a pure vegetarian fusion asian restaurant which is doing wonders with creative fusion, courteous staff and doing healthy twists to some signature recipes.
Here's what i tried:
1.Paan blast: The best part about this mocktail was that it was refreshing yet subtle on taste.
2.Marinated watermelon, goat cheese mousse and microgreens: a wonderful amalgamation of flavors. The salad had a smoky effect and chilly vineger dressing which just bowled me over. This one is highly recommended.
3.Pea soup, goat cheese: A pureed mint and pea tasted awesome with minimalistic ingredients and goat cheese toastie complimented it like anything else.
4.Ricotta fig and onion tarts:A very great tasting dish with superb quality of ricotta baked and served with onion marmalade is one of the best fusions I've ever had.
5.Khumb galauti:Mouth melting lucknawi delicacy which can give non vegetarian galautis a run for their money. They were served with bite sized ulte tawe ka parantha and were soft and delicate.
6.Famous five: This was an italian fusion with 5 grains namely barley, broken wheat, ragi, jowar and sabudana.Tasted exactky like the authentic version except tits of sabudana.
7.Ramen bowl:Sriracha flavoured broth with ramen noodles and corn with vegetables served with wasabi was an interesting japenese fusion altogether.
8.Green peppercorn spiced chocolate mousse: A not so sweet, buttery and chocolaty mousse which is a must try for dark chocolate lovers.
9.Baked cheese cake:This was accompained with fruit campote had american insipiration and i relished it till last bite.
Overall a highly recommended place specially for vegetarians. The staff is polite and explains the dish well. The service is timely and they are ready to help.
