A really great place to stay with friendly and helpful staff.

We arranged a safari with through them which was great - they even lent us some money when we couldn’t get to a cash point.

The pool and room were very clean.

Dinner was lovely, room ok, would stay again!

Visited recently. Booked room no.10, considering the price paid LKR2,500/- somewhat worth it but Wifi is not available to the room but I guess it may be available in dining area. Further even Dialog signals are not adequately available for that area. They provide cable tv with limited channels but only for night, in the morning it’s also not available.

Air conditioning is good but room was not sealed and I have found more than 10 mosquitoes in the room. Later I’ve found out that cover in the bathroom window is worn out and few holes visible. So my guess is this is kind of an old lot.

Multi plug was there but can not reach from the bed so pretty uncomfortable. Bed is ok and pillows and sheets are clean. Towels are somewhat unattractive but clean.

The place situated near to the Polonnaruwa ancient city and you can reach by a bicycle or by foot.

They provide meals in the premises but I’ve used room only option so I’m not in a position to comment about that.

I may recommend this accommodation but I can definitely say you can find better places than this in the vicinity for the same price.

More than adequate little Hotel. Friendly staff. Nice top floor room with views front and back. Limited grounds but pool is most welcome after a day cycling. They will rent you bikes for next to nothing.
Buffet breakfast and evening meal available which is useful as not much else nearby (though a trip to Priyamali Gedara is recommended).

We stayed for two nights. It was perfectly adequate given the price we paid. We took two breakfasts and two dinners there. One night they offered a buffet, another we ate a la carte. While the offerings were not extensive, the food was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here four nights to visit the Polonnaruwa area. We were greeted with a welcome drinks and cakes. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and we were given useful information about local transport to explore the area. There were bicycles available to hire.
The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious with lots of choice.
It was great to have a pool.
We would definitely recommend the Seyara resort.
