Stayed at the Manning Hotel in Vung Tau for a month
It is a five storey hotel with a lift

The location is very close to everything
About a five minute walk (two blocks) to the beach and parks.
Around the corner there is shopping, cinema, cafe and underneath is the Red Parrot bar. There are gyms and ten pin bowling nearby. Walking distance to other bars
There are numerous coffee shops /cafes nearby including Mr Ket that is a multi storey cafe that I would recommend.

The rooms are very clean and spacious with the daily clean, laundry and electricity included in the month charge

My room has an ocean view (see pic) air con in the large lounge/dining area as well as another in the bedroom, a seperate bathroom with a deep bath, seperate toilet, two flatscreen cable tv, very good wifi, and a general balcony on level 4.

You may hear a little street noise which is to be expected being close to everything but at least there are no roosters nearby like some areas of Vung tau that give you an early wake up.

From the front of the hotel you can see the cable cars going up then mountain, which would be a very short cab ride or possible to walk there. There are rides and things to do which are included in the 300,000 dong entry for the cable car up and back.

There are books and magazines in the lobby as well as drinks for sale in a fridge. There is also 24 hour security at the front of the hotel that also secure motorcycles in the car park there are security cameras.
Motorbikes are for rent at the hotel at good rates but you should check your licence requirements if you are a foreigner

The staff are friendly and very accommodating with any needs.

I would definitely stay here again

A very well presented hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Bathrooms are large and exceptionally clean. We stayed in room 202 with large windows to open and view the street below.
Staff are awesome!!! Lott and Ngu are extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel! !!! Location is central and is about 200 metres from the beach. I don't recommend you swimming there though. However there is a hotel nearby (The Rex) that charges a small fee to use their pool.
We arrived on a Sunday night and the Red Parrot bar below was serving a barbecue dinner. Absolutely delicious. We were told by local expats that this is the best Sunday night barbecue in Van Tau.
We were recommended this hotel by a friend and I am glad that we came to Van Tau.
Walking around is easy. My husband went for early morning walks daily and found all sorts of interesting cafés and restaurants.
If you desire western food try Matildas 6 Duyen Du St. Aussie bar and serves great food.
The street food from the vendors is terrific. Fresh seafood at ridiculously cheap prices.
See you again soon Manning Hotel and Vung Tau ..... we will definitely be back!!!!!
