This restaurant was recommended by our Uzbek friends. They said it was one of the best places to taste plov and I think they were right. Traditional food was great, various salads, plov, manti etc., we enjoyed everything. The prices were a pleasant surprise as well. Location is also good - situated in the very center of the old city. The service was a little slow, but the staff is very friendly.

Good food (ate shashlyk--four skewers per portion). Arrived late (after 10pm) on a Saturday night. All tables inside with aircon occupied at that time so sat outside. Tried to order salad from menu but instead they brought selection of salads to choose from. Very efficient. Staff solicitous but a little disorganized--perhaps somewhat difficult to service three dining rooms on two floors simultaneously on busiest night of the week with not so many waiters. For combination of food quality and price, it's the best in town.

This restaurant is near Lyabi-Hauz and was recommended to us by our guesthouse (As-Salaam/rustam &Zuxro) just 2 mins walk away. We liked the food here and came back again and again during our 3 days visit to Bukhara. There were a healthy mix of local and international tourists which is a good sign. Food was consistently good - salads were fresh and tasty, soups were hearty, plov, manti, shashlik, fried lamb, chicken tarbarka were executed competently. The staff are mostly young and some of their english is not very good but the supervisor is able to make good recommendations and was also friendly. The only comment I would make is that they don't list their drink or dessert prices (prices are only for food) so ask before you order! Ambiance can also be improved but very few places in Uzbekistan (except for the top-range restaurants) seem to bother.

We had an awesome meal on the terrace with great service, and the food (especially the veggie kabab and the Vakuri lamb) was delicious, tasty and well priced.

Restaurant is very average for Bukhara. The terrace is large, the dining rooms are just like so many other places in Uzbekistan: average
The quality of the food is also average.
