Recommended by our guide due to the veggie options. As we had eaten so much at breakfast, went for early dinner which is so not what the Uzbeks do!
The restaurant has a range of eating areas, from the lower enclosed space to a number of different terraces.
The range of food is wide, with a decent veggie selection. As highlighted on other reviews, not all were available but this was probably due to the seasonality of the ingredients nothing more.
We did not find our choices to be overly greasy and the veggie lagman was nice but not as spicy as expected. The eggplant salad was lovely.
Other reviews have highlighted the issue of tipping, and the "expectation" that this will happen. Our experiece was that the couple of hundred soum between the cost of the meal and the 50,000 soum note we had were met with a broad smile and a question "you are leaving me tipping?".
