My husband and I were staying in Holiday Inn resort on the other side of the island. As the resort was very secluded we decided to move to the busier part for a couple of nights. We booked this hotel as there was not much available for last minute booking. We didn't really expect much as this is 3 star hotel. However,I would not give this place 3 stars.

Our bungalow was clean and very basic which we expected. There was a cockroach in our room! Breakfast buffet was so poor, dirty looking that we decided to eat elsewhere. The swimming pool looks awful. The entire resort looks dated, dirty, poor looking.

Luckily only stayed for 2 nights. The location is good as you are close to the main area of Phi Phi so lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby.

Pleasant stay here for 3nights just before high season. Beautiful location on the beach front easy access to the long boat excursions, the pool was a bit small for the size of the hotel and there was alot of construction of pathways going on due to upcoming high season. Walk from pier to the hotel was about 10minutes but plenty of restaurants and bars inbetween. All in all a pleasant stay

Was travelling for 3 weeks around thailand with my boyfriend and this ia by far the most disaapointing hotel we stayed in. This is ă 2 star hotel at most. Swimming pool dirty and unkept, rooms small and very hot, food at breakfast was unedible and restaurant very very dirty. Hotel on the beach, however, could not use beach due to amount of boats there. Going out area and port is ă 15-20 min walk from hotel (not nice when is 32 degrees outside). All streets on phi phi don pedestrains only so no tuk tuk or other transport.

I must say I have been to many hotels in south east Asia. This is by far the worst I have encountered. I will start with it's only redeeming feature it is a beautiful location with it's restaurant on the edge of the beach looking across the bay. Downside it was a long walk from the ferry our cases were taken in a barrow to the hotel.
We requested an extra bed for our daughter and were shown a bungalow that had a double bed and obviously no room for anything else. It reminded me of a 1960 holiday camp and I think the decor must have come from that! it was tatty in dire need of complete renovation and very small also wasn't helped by major building works going on with accompanying noise!. They then showed us a room in the main hotel which surprisingly was pretty good except we had a toilet seat broken, lights that didn't work, not enough towels or hangers. My daughter's mattress must have been 20 years old it was worn so thin! Room maintenance was totally non-existent. Constant smell from drains so couldn't sit on the balcony with smell and construction noise.
Breakfast was appalling! Being a Muslim run hotel there were no breakfasts you might be used to. They had eggs! Which was ok for me. They had bread white sliced! no pastries no croissant limited fruit and cereal.
There is no bar alcohol is not sold or served in the hotel. There is so much more to say but I have now done with writing. To sum up do not waste your money coming here you will be seriously disappointed. The island is beautiful unfortunately the hotel let's the island down.

I stayed there 2 nights and it was a nightmare. We had cockroaches in the room. When I told that to the lady in reception she just said : Oh really and she did not do anything. Room were not too clean- especially bathroom. Very limited choices in breakfast buffet. There was no staff to check if something is running out. Plates and cutlery were really dirty. What also made me really uncomfortable was that reception had a cat pee smell.
What I like was the distance to the beach and the fact that staff was helping out to take our luggage from pier.
Think twice if you want to choose this hotel. I stayed there 2 nights and I cannot imagine being there any longer than that.
