Phi Phi Villa Resort
Ranked #14 of 38 Hotels in Ko Phi Phi Don
Reviewed January 17, 2018

Staying at Phi Phi Villa Resort was a great choice for my friend and I traveling to Phi Phi in early January. It is about a 15 minute walk from the pier, which is an easy walk, but also nice because it gets you away from the hordes of tourists. The section of the beach that this hotel is on is actually quite nice and not too busy. The Phi Phi Villa pool is GREAT! They offer towels that you can take to the pool or beach daily and bring back at the end of the day. We had our own villa near the pool that was cute, clean, and convenient. The breakfast buffet each morning was fantastic with a wide variety of options from all over the world. One downside to this hotel is that the wifi was extremely weak. I hardly could connect to the internet while I was there, unless I was standing directly in the lobby. However, for the price and location, this place was still worth it to us. Though not a luxury resort, Phi Phi Villa Resort is a great mid-range resort that I would recommend to travelers who don't want to spend too much money, but still want to have a great vacation experience in Phi Phi.

I travelled with a friend and we had a twin bed room. Not a bungular. Those are different. The room was rather big compared to the Thai average. There was free WiFi in the room. We noticed that the room keeping keeps the the door open while cleaning. This results in Mosquito hunting every night when we came back later.

Breakfast was goo There was an egg station where they made fresh sunny side ups and omeletts. Thai and western buffet. Tee and coffee, but no Espresso/Cappucino/...

The pool is not that big, but it's an infinty pool and both good for a swim or just to relax as it it has several different depth levels. If I remember correctly, the deepest was 1.9m. Be sure to go early, as the amount of sun loungers is rather limited compared to the site of the hotel.

The hotel also has an lunch/evening dining restaurant near the beach. They have both Thai and western cuisine. If you enjoy dining ocean vie, then this is a good place. Try the mango smoothies.

Stayed here with my girlfriend in early December. The shower water has a strong metallic smell which was very unpleasant. There were bed bugs in the room and I woke up after a night covered in bites. We checked out the following day and were promised a full refund. Two weeks later we are yet to receive any refund. Horrible place - DO NOT STAY HERE!

First and foremost, if you are looking for quality of service and cleanliness, you can stay in this hotel.
From the reception Nattika GSA who was friendly and helpful when needed.
She is one of the star!
Room was comfortable, clean and convenient.
The beach area was clean too but you can walk to Long beach around 10 minutes.
You can ask someone to collect your luggage from the jetty and pay them 200bath. Overall I’m happy with my stay and room. Thank you

Even though it seems a very nice place with beautiful surroundings, the inner place isn't so satisfying! The bathroom isn't very clean, it's inconvenient, the water pressure is very low and the light in the whole villa is like a candle. Breakfast is satisfying, the beach in front is beautiful and quiet but the personnel lacks of good knowledge of English. Personally I think it was expensive for what it offered! I wouldn't suggest it.
