The hotel is very well maintained and kept clean. Surprisingly, very quiet hotel overall since the central area around is very busy and noisy. The interior and the entire style of the property is kind of old fashioned but this is its charm. The rooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The bed felt very hard at first but we haven't any sleep issues with that. However the pillows were not that comfortable - one too low level, if you use two, too high level to sleep, which was a bit of a struggle for a proper neck/head rest position.

The pool is very nice with really clean water. There are limited sunbeds and it is hard to get one.

They offer a gym access to a near Bayan tree resort. The gym there is quite good and very big.

The breakfast is same everyday, a bit limited but satisfactory. Pineapple and/or watermelon are the only fresh fruits offered.

My wife and I stayed here on during honeymoon for 3 nights. We were both impressed with our stay. It was centrally located which allowed direct access to the main action of the market, restaurants, and we were close to both beaches. We were concerned before coming about the possible noise at night from the bars etc.... absolutely no noise in our room at night! It was perfect. The pool was a nice touch and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We are Canadian so the style of the room is different but we appreciated the Thai decor. We booked the room with breakfast included and we can honestly say it has been the best tasting breakfast buffet we had in the last 20 days in Thailand. We feel we got lucky with this hotel. Highly recommended. I think this resort is suited for anyone really but a young family or a more reserved couple will appreciate it the most.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff and helpful, close to everything. Would stay hear again as it is quiet at night, you do not hear the ungodly loud if you want to call it music. I would not stay anywhere by the Cabana which is down past the Big M

Make sure you book a pool access room, they are the only ones worthwhile. We had a booked a "deluxe room" which turned out to be a mediocre standard room with no view whatsoever.
The front desk staff was rude on our arrival. It might be a language thing though. We were not greeted with a "Hello" or "Welcome", but rather "Give me passport!". And then we were informed of a long list of rules to obey. If you bring a guests you will be fined 2000 Bath, smoking 500 Bath, lost key card 500 Bath and so on... Other guests received a welcome drink when checking in, we did not.
The pool area is nice and you can borrow beach towels for free.
Breakfast was good, but ends at 10 AM already which can be a bit early when on vacation.

Room Tip: Make sure you book a pool access room
