Stayed in a family bungalow for 4 nights. The water quality was so bad most of the time that you could not even wash your hands in it. Looked like dark brown mud water. Staff said it was an island problem, but stayed another 4 nights 2 km away without this problem after being here. Also the wifi does not work at all in the bungalows a little bit further in, only at the bar/restaurant. Should be changed in the description of the hotel. Food in the restaurant was good, but breakfast not worth the money.

Affordable and good value for your money. Big bathroom with a long double bed and a helpful staff. Breakfast is nice and the bungalows are located close to the beach. There are always tuktuks nearby, a small store and restaurants.

Bungalows arranged in a tranquil jungle like setting 2minutes from the great beach. Bungalows well maintained, of good size and the area is very quiet. Good restaurants less than 5minute walk including on the beach (great sunsets). Only downside which can be overlooked is the lacklustre staff. Breakfast options are close by and a great lunch stop a few yards away. Good Minimart less than 100yards away, 20minutes walk to a 7/11. Look for the sunset bar on the beach with 120tb happy hr cocktails and Irlie bar on the main road for great food. Recommended.

Great location! Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and beautiful area and bungalows, near the beach. Great beds and free water bottles every day.
The water pressure is a bit unstable, but so i seems to be in the entire island.
Would definitely recommend this place and I hope I can come back my self some day.

When we read the reviews of this hotel we expected a really great place and unfortunately we are disappointed.
Breakfast buffet - for 170THB per person there should have a better choice - should be some vegetables - tomato, cucumber or lettuce are not expensive in Thailand and do not understand why they were not serve. The buffet does not offer any cold cuts - I understand that European food is not cheap but it is Thai, which is also not expensive!
Wi-Fi was supposed to work in the whole place but in the room did not work - we got the password for wi-fi from the neighboring facility but the signal strength was very weak
We wanted to rent motor bikes - we got which did not working well - none of the staff even bothered to check them - they took the money and at the end. We asked for a replacement but the next ones we got were also not fully functional - I understand that this is a Thai island and nobody cares too much about whether the light works or not - but we think that for our and someone else's safety STOP lights are very important.
Employees in the canteen work as if they were doing it as a punishment - no smile - one or two people were nice ...
In general there are much better places in Koh Lanta...
