It was a great experience or choice I should say because I knew hotel was good but rather it was excellent. The location at which is set is icing on the cake with spice plantations surrounding us and waking up to the orangey mountain is refreshing. I request every traveller to stay in this hotel if they ever visit Munnar.

We stayed in the tree house. I really liked our stay there. The room was great and the bed comfortable. The tea plantation was amazing. A few things to work on:
- staff could be a bit more friendly, most were great but some weren't
- food was good but was a bit vapid. It tasted like the "indian" food they serve us in Europe.
- the room had a slight smell of mildew
- you make a bonfire underneath a wooden shack, well.... what could go wrong??
- no wifi in the rooms which might be a plus :-)

Besides that, it was fine!

Stayed in this resort for a day with my parents on 23 December 2017. This place is a little away from Munnar town, on a hillock. It has got tea plantation on it's rear side and cardamom plantation on it's front..We stayed in two bed room tree house and it was clean and adequately furnished...They got 4 or 5 tree houses, all the midst of plantations.. WiFi is good, breakfast was delicious (complimentary)..They organized a camp fire in the evening..The staff is good and helpful..The view from the view tower inside the tea garden is fabulous!!

We enjoyed the stay, but be mindful, stay in the tree house is enticing; but may cause sleep disturbances due to rumblings in windy weather at night...

We stayed in two of their tree houses for two nights. They are simple, but nice. The silence here is as fantastic as the view. The food was decent Indian buffet. It should, though, be noted that one house fits 2 adults & 3 children!

Like my title says, the location and views from this hotel are superb. We stayed in the superior rooms and you wake up to the beautiful views of Anamudi mountains rising up through the lush green vegetation. From the veranda you have amazing views of the tea gardens. The restaurant has some really beautiful views and our morning walks in the tea gardens amongst the orange and cardamom trees were truly mesmerising.
The children’s play area is also very sweet. There is a lookout in the children’s area from which you get 360* views.
There is a large aviary in the garden with budgies and finches and you hear birdsong in the morning and in the evening which is quite pleasant.
The driveway is also very beautiful with lots of different trees, shrubs and plants with colourful flowers lining both sides.
You really couldn’t stay in a more beautiful surrounding.

The main drawback for this hotel for me is the lack of a lift, especially if you have elderly people with you. Although our rooms were on the first floor and the stairs were small, the restaurant is on the 4th floor, which was difficult for my mum as she has arthritis. We should have checked but since the price was quite expensive, we assumed it must have a lift.
Food is not very good, just ok but very expensive.
We didn’t visit the spa after having read the reviews of other people on tripadvisor.
The paving in front of the hotel is quite dangerous- lots of the tiles are displaced and they move as you walk on them and we say two people fall and hurt themselves.
There is no lobby to speak of- just a small area under the stairs but then one could relax in the restaurant which has such amazing views.

This hotel has so much potential but I don’t think they are maximising the resource.
