Excellent location and awesome tree house
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Feb 26, 2015
In our kerala trip 1st we went to munnar and stayed at this hotel.
We had a very nice stay at the tree house, awesome tree plantations, location is good, camphire, room service, reception, manager everything was tooo good. Happy and fantastic stay here.

A few negative points are:
Its a bit far away from munnar, but peace ful place.
Food is average and very cold. Bcz kitchen is at ground floor and restaurant is at 4th floor.
Wifi signal is too bad

But I really really enjoyed the stay here.
Date of stay: February 2015
Room Tip: I recommend to stay here especially at tree house.

The tree houses are delightful. Beautifully hand crafted of teak swaying above the tea plantation. That's where it ends!
The restaurant despite a reasonable menu serves a poor buffet. The food is cold since the kitchen is on the ground floor and the restaurant is on the walk up 4th floor roof. Wifi barely covers the reception area.
The room was not cleaned on our second day and we had to ask for service when we returned in the evening.
To crown off our stay the manager attempted to charge twice the pre agreed booking com rate and refused to accept credit cards saying the connection was down (Internet was connected perfectly on my tablet!). I refused to pay any more than was on the voucher but he insisted on cash which I had to borrow from my driver.
Best avoided!

Room tip: Unless you stay in the tree houses which are great you will be very disappointed.

Been to over 50 hotels/resorts. I do my own driving. Travelled over 50000km South India. Usually I don't write reviews. Anyways just felt like letting you guys know something about this place, So I reach there, I call for guidance cause they are located deep inside no English speaking land, anyways could not really get any info from them on phone. Lots of CONSTRUCTION going on in this resort/hotel. I would suggest hold on for couple of months before booking here. Not much of view as well from balcony. It was all drilling and breaking, I ended up moving to another resort after 2 days. So the experience not happy. I don't demand much from a place, but I do demand peace of mind from my regular city noise. Which I am disappointed with this hotel. Such a waste. Service average, oh and yea they forgot to call in for breakfast, every penny saved, is a penny earned? Not so much! Dream catcher. You could not catch any of my dreams. Food above average, but not much in quantity. Guess what? no dustbin in the bathroom, where do I throw my stuff after use? Please arrange that before anyone else points it out. And please, keep some more guys like shiva who can communicate verbally. Customers don't like sign language. Rooms are clean, hot water does exist here, good job on that. Wifi is available only in lobby, 128kbps, so can't do much. Took me an hour to do other booking, writing this on the third day where I moved to a different hotel called bethel varkis . Will type some on that later. Thanks for reading.

If you want a peaceful environment after a long journey, then this is the right place to stay.Basic best features of this room service is excellent apart from there a beautiful tea garden back side of resort where there is burn fire ,tree house.Mostly we liked the taste of food and service of the resort. Things they need to improve is activities like some indoor sports or outdoor,or Spa.Apart from this only concern what i felt is resort is very far from Munnar like 20 km. But if you want a nice stay then distance does not matter.

Room tip: You can consider room as tree house or choose top floor because view is just fantastic from top floor.

Let me start by saying the place is absolutely stunning. As soon as we entered the Dream Catcher we were left speechless by the spectacular view that was in front of us. The room itself was amazing...The magnificence can be seen from the tree house where you get a bird’s eye view of the entire landscape, and on one side hill top and another one by tea plantation and Orange trees. Really impressed with the pin drop silence location, the aesthetically designed tree house in the middle of tea plantation.

Me and wife would really like to thank the buddies for providing us an awesome experience to enjoy our Honeymoon from 8th Jan ‘15 till 10 Jan ‘15. We were very happy with your excellent hospitality & personal involvement in even smallest details like Camp Fire, Flower Bed, Honeymoon Cake and Candle Light Dinner.

I must say the manager at “Orange” Restaurant was extremely well behaved and groomed, and the way he talks is amazing, to be honest I never expected this. Excellent service.

Hmm what next… Oh the Check In and Check Out was great

I would love to share my experience
