Starts from Mariyoor, spreading for more than 40 kms. road length through Munnar is a treat to your eyes. Mostly owned by Tatas.

I am a fan of “chai tea” and it intrigues me to always visit places like Tea Gardens that gives a complete overview about history about tea plantation in Munnar. Apart from the history, its a place where you get to know wholesome varieties in which tea can be available , right from black tea, green tea , and various flavors including rose, peach and cinnamon flavored. They have a store from which you can purchase tea. I purchased almost all new variety and I enjoy them these days! So go and visit this place if you are planning for a trip to Munnar and enjoy the beautiful landscape of tea plantation over the way!

1. Amazing scenery - clouds running over hills sometimes rainy and greenery all over that's the beauty of tea garden.
2. Don't forget to buy cashew nut, very cheap when compared to other state prices.
3. You can stop there and click some pics.
4. You can see workers plucking the delicate leaves, so u can enter in some of the properties with permission and click some beautiful images.
