Our guide recommended this restaurant for lunch in Bagan, and I’m so glad he did. I had the Bagan style curry, which was made with the pone yay gyi Black bean paste. It’s a fermented sauce with a salty, unctuous flavor, and the pork was really tender. This was also the first place we had Myanmar style salads, and the tomato salad was spot on. I know you’re supposed to be careful with salads while traveling, but I was willing to take the risk for this wonderful fresh salad with a peanut dressing. Wrapped it all up with a mango sticky rice - I know it’s Thai but the desserts do seem to be lacking in Myanmar - and overall one of my favorite meals of the whole trip. The girls working there were very attentive and the place is exceedingly cute - you enter and feel miles away from the hot and dusty temples.

We found this restaurant in google maps near by and where unsure of it but decided to give it a try since we were starving and didn't know anything else around. I can only say it exceeded my expectations. It was AMAZING.
We asked the waiter what was the best of the menu, and he responded "everything is good, if not, it wouldn't be on the menu". My husband and I looked at each other thinking that he had great security about his restaurant, but he was totally right. We stayed in Bagan 3 days, and the 3 days we came here to eat. It has the BEST FOOD I've tried in so much time and it's super CHEAP. Also they do everything on the moment so it's super fresh, you can taste it. Definitely a MUST! You can't miss it!!

Delicious food and extremely kind people. They prepare their own ice cream, I recommend the chocolate-banana one! Only problem, they don’t take cards.

Restaurant is located a bit away from main road so drive slowly as it can get easily missed. Everything we ordered tasted so good. Although there was One food item not up to our expectations, the owner took that off our bill without any hesitation. Highly recommend!
