We had a look at the bell because we stayed anyhow in Mingun. It is a really big bell but I was not really impressed. So if you pass by you can have a look. There were very many people around and as the place is quiet small it was a little bit hectical.

Nothing exciting about this. It was just a big bell.
It wasn't out of my route so I was happy to swing by for a couple of minutes. I didn't bother with a photo.

This bell was planned to be placed in the unfinished stupa. We thought it was the biggest in the world but according to the inscription it’s the second largest. Nothing much to see and do.

This is the largest “functioning” bell in the world. Neat to see and ring it. We got inside it and it’s neat to hear people ring it while you’re in it.

As it is only one minutes walk from the other historic sites it is a must see and find. I gave it three good thumps with the wooden club made for that purpose and the noise was superb. Give it a try
