Good atmosphere, nice patio. Tried the St. Patrick Pie which was flavourful but quite small. Cold beers to wash down. Great live band inside at the bar around 11pm. Cranking out 80's and 90's rock and pop songs. They were called "The Hits" fittingly enough. Nice neighbourhood and good break from staying in Centro.

This limited-choice menu will do more than prevent you from starvation. You will enjoy the Bolinhos de Bacalhau (deep fried croquettes of cod fish) while you enjoy the many choices of beer. They will do a security search before you go in, so once you are there, as you know liquor usually makes people more irritable. Anyway, this place is popular after 9PM even on a weekday. We liked it so much that we went twice in the same week.

A nice place to go! Good food, good service, good music. There are an internal area, with some tables and where cover bands plays good rock, and also an external area where you can seat and have nice conversations with friends.
Good variety of beers and food (finger food, dishes).

The beer and people are great. There seemed to be a hipper, younger crowd. There's also live music. When we went it was mostly reggae and 90's/early '00 american pop rock. The food may be great for omnivores but very limited for vegetarians. They were kind enough to bring us some Nachos, but it definitely wasn't like US nachos.

Good beers, but when I asked for a 'Guinnes (it is an irish pub after all) It was kept in the basement. The bartender kept having to climb the stairs with my beer, so tipped extra. The place was packed on Saturday night, live music, tight standing room only. I met a few of the loves of my life there...:) A couple of Germans there were trying to get food, when it came out it looked pretty decent, did not order food here. I'll go back soon.
