I didn't had visited the Taperapua Beach until my last day ( I was staying there), but the day I went I regret I hadn't gone before.
The water is warm and the beach is beautiful. It is not the most beautiful beach on Porto Seguro, but if you are close, I think it worth a visit to swim.

This beach is quiet, no big waves, not very noisy. Eventually some people will pass by trying to sell stuff on the beach and some things can be quite interesting. For instance, the brazilian bikinis and summer dresses are cute and inexpensive. If you want something to eat you will find a lot of restaurants and bars where you can either order complete meals or just snacks. If you want to go somewhere with music there is "Axé Moi", "Barramares" and "Tôa-tôa" (places with dance lessons, music, food and beach chairs) but it can be annoying sometimes. All in all this beach is good to sunbathe, relax and have a drink. The water is quite dark so I don't like to swim there but the rest is OK.
